Cape Lodge, Margaret River
Cape Lodge is a small luxury boutique, vineyard, nestled away in the heart of the Margaret River. The 22 rooms are overlooking a large lake, and the restaurant and vineyard is popular for visitors to sit and enjoy the wine and the tranquillity that Cape Lodge brings. Surrounded by a forest, the lake, and only a short distance from the pristine beaches of the Margaret River, it is the perfect spot to relax but also explore this region. Driving around through tree lined country roads, there are plenty of vineyards to explore in the local area and the hotel can arrange guides to take you out wine tasting. Alternatively hire a car. The feeling of finding a hidden gem, and soaking up the picturesque Western Australian countryside enroute, is as enjoyable as the wine tasting itself. If you are interested in food, and enjoy the dishes served at the award winning resturant at Cape Lodge, then there a number of cooking classes that you can get involved in to take home more than a memory of the delights you sample here. There are also private tennis courts and a beautiful swimming pool to enjoy.
