Deniz Feneri Lighthouse
Situated on the beautiful Kas peninsula, the Deniz Feneri offers contemporary style and family-friendly facilities in spacious terraced gardens.
The extensive waterfront is the focal point of the hotel with idyllic terraces carved into the rocks allowing you to while away the hours by the sea shore. At intervals there are steps leading down into the sea for a cooling dip. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to swim with the loggerhead turtles which are frequently spotted here. Guests are able to make use of the complimentary sea kayaks and snorkels to explore the bay.
Drinks and snacks are provided from the waterfront bar whilst the hotel’s restaurant offers traditional Turkish cuisine. The hotel pool is surrounded by wooden loungers and parasols and there is also a small children’s pool with the benefit of a sun shade, and children will have fun in the games room. Here you’ll find various board games, satellite television, DVDs and a Playstation.
All of the 27 rooms and suites have a balcony or terrace and views towards the sea. Most rooms will take an extra bed for a child and the very spacious Waterfront Suites sleep up to four guests.
The hotel offers spa treatments and baby-sitting can also be arranged. There is a complimentary shuttle service in three times a day into the charming harbour town of Kas where there are further water sports facilities. Framed by the Taurus Mountains the winding cobbled streets, colourful local shops and local market place all combine to provide a real Turkish flavour. There are two pebble beaches at Kas whilst several sandy beaches are a short drive away.
