Plantation Beach Villas
These six luxury villas are situated in tropical gardens above the beautiful unspoilt beach at Stonehaven Bay in Tobago and are perfect for families.
The villas were built in 1992 in traditional West Indian colonial style, with wooden fretwork and wide cool teak verandahs overlooking the sea.
Each two storey villa sleeps six, with two double bedrooms and one twin, all of them en suite. The villas are light, spacious and well-equipped with a large sitting room leading onto the large wooden verandah, a kitchen with dishwasher and microwave and a separate laundry room with washing machine and dryer. The bedrooms are air conditioned and have ceiling fans. All the villas are equipped with WIFI and linen is provided.
Outside there is a shared swimming pool and bar area where guests can order snacks and light lunches as well as drinks. Each villa also has a barbecue and tables and chairs for outside dining. There is a daily maid service and a meal will be provided for you on arrival. Your villa attendant will also cook and arrange babysitting if requested. The service is particularly friendly.
The beach is two minutes’ walk from the villas, and is famous for the leatherback turtles which lay their eggs there between March and July. There are several other beaches nearby and a couple of local restaurants within walking distance.
The area is also famous for its tropical birds, and scuba diving, catamaran sailing and fishing can all be arranged through Reception. There are also tennis courts and a golf course nearby.
We have had many outstanding reports on the Plantation Villas over the years, particularly from families with young children, and many clients have returned several times.
