South Point Villa and South Point Abbey
Southpoint Villa is an exciting villa on the south coast, just 15 minutes drive from Galle. From its gardens you can access the beach, which is perfect for families as the sea here can be calm and safe for swimming. The villa has three bedrooms all furnished to a very high standard, and for those needing to work whilst away there is the added advantage of internet access in each of the rooms. The combined living and dining area has a wonderful decked veranda which is perfect for al fresco dinning and the infinity pool has a jacuzzi section, so great for sipping a cocktail whilst watching the blazing sunsets. The owners also have a property next door called Southpoint Abbey, a colonial Beach Villa. The two villas interconnect making it ideal for a large family or group who are travelling together but who perhaps prefer a little bit of privacy. In the evening at full moon it is possible to see nesting turtles on the beach directly in front of the villas.
Located right next door to Southpoint Villa, the Abbey is a 4 bedroom villa offering complete privacy for those looking for an independent property. However the two villas can be used together and are perfect for a larger family gathering or group of friends travelling together. As with Southpoint Villa the house has exceptional staff who really go out of their way to make your stay special. The house has a swimming pool overlooking the ocean, and between mid January and September the garden leads directly onto the beach, and the sea is usually calm enough to swim in at this time.
At both properties all your meals are freshly prepared each day by the cook and made with the best local ingredients.
