Family Villa Holidays
Villa Holidays are a great way to enjoy the freedom and flexibility whilst on holiday as well as appreciating the best of home comforts, with lots of space for the whole family. We can arrange villas of varying sizes to many places in the world with our favourites in Italy, Sri Lanka, the Pelion region of Greece and Portgual, all with private pools. We can also offer six villas in Tobago which share a pool and within walking distance to a lovely beach.
From our Italian Portfolio we have a very select number of villas chosen to appeal to different tastes and budgets. They are located in Umbria, Marche, Tuscany and one in Puglia, all in stunning countryside. Booking one of these villas with Real Holidays allows you to set your own pace for your holiday, wear what you like, eat when you feel like it and relax with your family without worrying about other guests. It allows you to visit local shops and markets and then play at being Antonio Carluccio on your terrace when the effort of driving to a local trattoria is too much.
Two of our favourite properties in Italy are Casale de Lanci a large family villa in Northern Umbria, and Le Terrazze also in Umbria but further south near Todi. Casale de Lanci is a magnificent large family villa of a very high standard and sleeps up to 10, with three bedrooms in the main house, and two further bedrooms in an adjoining building. There is a large private pool, tennis court, large fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining room. Prices start from £4720 per week in low season.
Le Terrazze is a stone built villa set in landscaped gardens near to Todi. It has been furnished to an exceptional level of comfort. The villa has five light and spacious bedrooms sleeping up to 11 people. There is a fully equipped kitchen, large living dining area, private swimming pool and several terraces with furniture, so you can always find somewhere quiet to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Prices start from £1500 per week in low season.
Sri Lanka offers the opportunity to stay in a luxurious private villa that would arguably rival anything found in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean in terms of facilities, comfort and style as well as value for money. You can be sure that during your stay you will be incredibly well looked after as each villa comes complete with in-house staff, including a chef and housekeeper, who will look after your every need during your stay. Unlike many villas in the Med our villas in Sri Lanka are not restricted by specific arrival dates or durations - start dates are completely flexible and you can stay for as short or long a stay as you want. Cut out the stress of searching for interconnecting rooms or suites and opt for your very own private luxury villa for a fraction of the cost.
Two of our favourite properties include South Point Villa, a gorgeous and stylish 3 bedroom villa with a private pool and direct beach access, which starts at £2400 per week, and Villa Victoria, which sleeps up to 10 making it ideal for larger families or groups. Prices from £2200 per week.
In the Pelion region of Greece, we have various villas with pools and village houses to suit every family make up. We have the Villa Daphne and Villa Irene, both villas with private pools, Olive Grove House which is a lovely house sleeping up to 6 easy walking distance to a beach and Metochi, Lafkos House and the Old Stone House which are all village houses with lovely views.
We also have a lovely contemporary villa in Portugal called Fora da Caixa. This is located on the Silver Coast, 45 minutes north of Lisbon. This villa has five bedrooms and has a private pool and is very close to the sandy beaches of Foz do Arelho. Still in Portugal, we are now featuring Martinhal Resort which is a collection of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom villas on the Western Algarve which works very well for families, and can also be combined with Fora da Caixa.
We do get asked a lot for villas in the Caribbean and the Plantation Beach Villas in Tobago is the perfect choice for families. It offers very good value and is ideally located minutes from the unspolit beach of Stonehaven. This is a collection of six luxury villas sleeping up to six. There is a large swimming pool for the villas, as well as a bar.
