Borgo Egnazia, Italy
Borgo Egnazia is a new luxury resort located on the Puglian coast. The architecture of the main hotel is built in a traditional style in typical white tufo stone and has views to the sea and is perfect for a luxury family holiday.
The hotel is composed of several difference areas. The main hotel houses 63 stylish guest rooms, ranging from superior rooms to 1 and 2 bedroom suites. All the rooms have a contemporary Mediterranean feel and and all room have magnificent views of the Adriatic Sea, the nearby hills or the hotel’s courtyard. The spa along with 2 large outdoor swimming pools, restaurant and bar are also located by the main hotel.
The 28 villas all have 3 bedrooms and are the most luxurious accommodation on the resort. Each villa has a terraced garden, private pool and balconies which make the most of the view.
The Borgo is the resort’s own typical white stone Apulian village which includes 92 rooms and 1 and 2 bedroom townhouses with open plan living room and kitchenette and outdoor courtyard. There are further restaurants here and an additional family friendly swimming pool.
There are two beaches close by, one about a 10 minute walk away with some low lying rocks, and a sandy beach with a small bar and watersports about 5 minute drive, the hotel does offer a shuttle to both beach. There are also three tennis courts, a cooking school, a kids club for children up to the age of 12 and the teen club for older children with the latest video games, table football and table tennis.
Inspired by the rich traditions in Puglia, yet contemporary in style, the Borgo Egnazia is fast becoming the most popular leisure family resorts in Europe and is only one hour transfer from Bari Airport.
