Villas in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka offers the opportunity to stay in some of the most luxurious private villas in the world. These villas rival anything you will find in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean in terms of facilities, comfort and style as well as value for money. You can be sure that during your stay you will be incredibly well looked after as each villa comes complete with in-house staff who will look after your every need during your stay. A cook, gardener, house boy and housekeeper ensure that you won't need to lift a finger! We have access to several beachfront villas that have between 2 and 6 bedrooms, have private swimming pools, and are located on some of the most stunning stretches of coastline in Asia.
Some of our favourites include South Point Villa and Abbey which have 3 and 4 bedrooms respectively and can be combined to make a 7 bedroom set up for groups of friends or larger families. Alternatively try the Balinese influenced Ambalama villa, the spacious Villa Victoria or, right in the south of the country, Thalassa Villa – a 7 bedroom property on one of Sri Lanka’s least developed beaches.
If you prefer the idea of being able to walk to restaurants and shops then consider a villa in the fort town of Galle. These make an interesting alternative to staying in a hotel - you'll feel as if you have stepped back in time as you enter your very own private haven of solitude. Full of character and an aura of timelessness these villas, hidden away down narrow lanes in the very heart of Galle Fort, really feel like a living a dream. Again all of these villas have their own private courtyard pools and come with staff. Even in Galle you are never more than a 10 minute drive from the beach. Our personal favourite is 41 Lighthouse but this is rapidly being challenged by 25 Rampart Street which might be more preferable for families and larger groups.
Unlike many villas in the Med our villas in Sri Lanka are not restricted by specific arrival dates or durations - start dates are completely flexible and you can stay for as short or long a stay as you want. For longer stays it is possible to ask for a reduced weekly rate.
