Albergo Cesari, Rome
The Albergo Cesari has to be one of the oldest hotels in our Portfolio, having first been given its papal licence to be a hotel in 1787.

The hotel is family owned and its ownership has been passed down through the Palumbo family since 1899. It is almost impossible to beat the location of the Cesari - situated on a small pedestrian side street in the old part of Rome, the hotel is a 5 minute walk to both the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain and 15 minutes to the Forum and Colosseum.
The hotel has recently undergone extensive refurbishment with a new air conditioning and heating system, and creation of a lovely new roof terrace. There are 47 rooms, most of them extremely spacious and some with views over the neighbouring piazza. All have satellite television, safes, mini bars and modern bathrooms. A delicious buffet breakfast is served daily, on the terrace in the warmer months, and after a day of sightseeing there is no shortage of choice when it comes to finding a restaurant close by.
The Albergo Cesari is the ideal hotel for a Roman city break or better still, spend a few days discovering Rome before travelling on to one of our properties in Umbria or Le Marche.
Please note that from 1st January 2011, there will be a new "Rome City Tax" of Euro 2 per person per day which will be payable locally to the hotel in cash.
