Threse three magnificent cities are all so different and with easy train travel, it is very easy to be able to experience all three in one holiday, and what a holiday it would be.

Start with four nights in Rome at the central Albergo Cesari, walking distance from the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and the Colosseum, as well as just off the fashionable Via del Corso for any shopping needs. This three star hotel has a lovely rooftop terrace from where you can enjoy a pre-dinner drink after a day of sightseeing.

You then head north to the Renaissance city of Florence for four further days at the Palazzo dal Borgo. Spend the days visiting the Uffizzi Gallery, the Accademia Art Gallery, the Piazzo del Duomo with its' impressive Duomo Cathedral or the first Renaissance church, San Lorenzo.

After four days of Renaissance, head for the glorious Venice. Built on an archipelago of more than 100 islands with 200 canals and spanned by 400 bridges, and famed for its palaces, basilicas, grand squares and gondolas which glide aroung the waterways. Stay for your final four nights at the Hotel Flora, close to St Marks Square and a five minute walk to the Accademia Bridge.
