I Calanchi
I Calanchi is an old agricultural estate which has been renovated to provide a comfortable, light, modern hotel in a spectacular position among olive groves and vineyards in the gently rolling hills of the Southern Marche.
The main buildings of the hotel, including the restaurant, are gathered round an extremely attractive paved courtyard where guests can sit and enjoy a drink and eat out in the summer months.
There are 32 rooms in total, all comfortably furnished. The 4 standard country rooms are located on the ground floor as well as 10 country junior suites made up of the main bedroom with space for an extra bed and a small sitting room with sofa bed. These rooms can sleep a family of 4 and some of them interconnect. On the first floor there are 14 superior and deluxe rooms and 2 suites.
There is a charming courtyard and a large swimming pool from which uninterrupted views of the southern Marche hills can be enjoyed.
The restaurant at I Calanchi serves excellent food typical of the region, such as home made pasta with truffles and locally produced cheeses and salami, served with local wines including the excellent Piceno Rosso.
I Calanchi is in an ideal position for exploring the wonderful unspoilt towns of the southern Marche, such as Ascoli Piceno and Fermo, and also for the beaches and seaside towns of San Benedetto del Tronto and Grottemmare.
I Calanchi has the following special offers for 2012
- Early booking offer - For any bookings made before 30th April, you will receive a 5% discount
- Long stay offer - Book for a minimum of 7 nights, and receive one night free. Book for a minimum of 14 nights and pay for 12 plus a complimentary room upgrade and a bottle of Spumante in the room on arrival
- Season incentive - from 13th April to 31st May, and 1st - 31st October, book four nights and pay for three
- Repeat guests - for anyone who is a repeat guest of I Calanchi, you will receive a complimentary gourmet dinner with a bottle of DOC wine.
