Il Biroccio
We are delighted to feature this charming country house in the heart of the dramatic mountains of the northern Marche region.

The country house is set in 27 hectares of woodland, approximately 2km from the main road, and is the ideal spot for clients wanting to get away from it all. The surrounding countryside is full of walking trails, whilst the more energetic can hire mountain bikes and explore a little further afield. Alternatively, you may wish to spend your days by the lovely swimming pool.
There are, however, plenty of reasons for leaving the haven of Il Biroccio. The perfectly preserved Renaissance town of Urbino is 30 minutes away and it is possible to reach the coast in less than an hour.
Il Biroccio is a combination of hotel and self catering apartments. There are 4 double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, all decorated in neutral colours with brightly coloured soft furnishings and mountain views. The apartments are simply furnished and slightly differ in style, but all have modern en suite bathrooms.
There is a small bar at Il Biroccio where you can enjoy a pre dinner drink and also a comfortable living room. Dinner can be provided at Il Biroccio at a local cost of 30 Euro per person, this is on a request basis. Otherwise, there is a communal outside seating area with BBQ for al fresco cooking.
Getting to Il Biroccio is easy with Bologna, Forli and Ancona airports being just over an hour's drive away with Rimini slightly closer.
Il Biroccio is owned and managed by the charming Minucci family. Gianni, Antonella and their son Eugenio (and their dog), all enjoy getting to know their guests and will be able to provide you with any local information you may need to ensure you have a memorable stay.
Istrice - sleeps 3
This apartment is accessed by an external staircase, at the top of which are a table and chairs. There is a large living area with double sofa bed and kitchen corner, and the bedroom has a double bed and an additional chair bed, which would be suitable for a child.
Capriolo - sleeps 2
This is in an independent building and has a small double bedroom with a large living area with double sofa bed and kitchen corner. Capriolo has a lovely shaded private terrace.
Cinghiale and Loupo - sleeps 2
These are located next to one another on the lower level of the main building. Both have a double bedroom and living room with sofa bed and kitchen corner. The outside dining areas of these apartments have the most wonderful views over the mountains and are the perfect spot to have dinner and watch the sun setting.
Poiana - sleeps 4
This is a new apartment with two bedrooms which are both en suite. One of these rooms has two extra sofa chairs so the apartment can sleep a total of 6 people.
