This comfortable and stylish superior hotel of 30 rooms is situated in the heart of Ortygia, Syracuse.
The beautiful, recently restored stone building overlooks the sea, and all the rooms have a view of the sea or of the attractive Mediterranean courtyard with its brightly coloured tiles and water features.
From the moment you enter the hotel , with its antique reception desk, you can see that it is unusual in its very individual style. All the rooms are different, although they all have light coloured walls complemented by antique furniture and some touches of bright colour, such as cushions, as well as air conditioning, TV and internet access. The bathrooms are luxurious, and decorated with Mediterranean tiles in vivid colours. The floors are stone tiled throughout in subtle shades, and some of the rooms have painted wooden beams and four poster beds. They range from an Executive suite with its own stairway and private terrace with hydro massage bath to two comfortable single rooms.
The public spaces are light and elegant, with a comfortable and attractive restaurant serving authentic and locally sourced dishes as well as vegetarian and gluten free food if requested.
The hotel is a perfect choice for those requiring style and considerable comfort in an ideal position for exploring Syracuse and other areas of interest nearby.
