Villa Elia and Lo Scoglio

We now have two recent additions to our Puglian programme in the southern Salento, one to satisfy a large family group, or reunion of friends, and the other for a family that loves the idea of being as near the sea as possible.

Villa Elia

A huge rambling masseria with extensive gardens, a large walled swimming pool and beautiful rural views, Villa Elia is a truly stunning property sleeping up to 17, with 8 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, a short drive from Gallipoli in the south of Puglia, with its many sandy beaches.

Set amidst landscaped gardens of flowers, lawns, fruit trees, olive trees and a herb garden, the recently restored whitewashed masseria is imposing with its vaulted ceilings and wrought iron balconies and inside there is an attractive mixture of ethnic, contemporary and antique furnishings.

Wide terraces for outside dining, a lovely gazebo beside the pool and numerous other secluded outside seating areas make this a perfect property for a summer holiday. Many of the bedrooms are huge and all are stylish and comfortable. In addition there is a billiard room and a small cinema, which will delight the younger members of the party.

Lo Scoglio

Italy’s furthest south-eastern corner offers a low, rocky coastline and Lo Scoglio is set in a fabulous position here with both villa and swimming pool overlooking crystal clear sea. With very easy access to lovely coves for swimming, this is a perfect property for those whose ideal holiday is on the sea front. It has the additional advantage of being very near a wonderful restaurant as well as other restaurants within walking distance.

The villa sleeps 6 with 2 double and one twin bedroom, and has 3 bathrooms. Set on two levels, it has recently been stylishly refurbished with tiled floors and white walls and furnishings, which give a light and spacious feel to the property, perfectly complementing the vibrant colours outside.

The outside terraces have beautiful views of the sea and are perfect for al fresco dining, or you may prefer to have your morning cappuccino on the panoramic upper terrace leading from the bedrooms.
