Masseria Torre Coccaro
This historic masseria with its 16th century watchtower has been beautifully renovated to make the most of its original features while combining comfort and luxury with amazing facilities.
The masseria is set deep in the countryside in 5 hectares of ancient olive trees 1km from the coast, where the hotel has a private beach with a restaurant serving locally caught seafood.
There are 34 rooms and suites with private garden or terrace. All the rooms are different and spacious, with comfortable beds, fine linen and luxurious bathrooms. They have flagstone floors, antique furniture and high ceilings, many of them barrel vaulted. Two of the rooms, one a suite with its own swimming pool and private walled garden, are built into the caves below the masseria.
The hotel runs a private beach club approximately 5 minutes drive away, which has a restaurant, bar and snack service and sun loungers. A complimentary shuttle bus to the beach club is operated by the masseria.
The new and huge Aveda spa is also built into the caves, giving it a unique atmosphere in which to enjoy an ayurvedic or shiatsu massage, or one of the many treatments on offer. The spa also has a heated indoor swimming pool and a Turkish bath. The beautiful outdoor swimming pool and the fitness centre offer further opportunities for rejuvenation.
There are 2 restaurants serving regional specialities cooked with local ingredients, many grown in the hotel’s gardens, including the olive oil, which is pressed from the masseria’s own olive trees. In addition, the hotel has its own cookery school so that guests can learn to cook the local Puglian dishes in their own kitchens.
For those guests looking for further activities, the hotel has its own 9 hole golf course, a riding centre and a private yacht available for hire.

- Early booking discount - For all reservations confirmed before the 30th April and for a minimum of 5 nights, you will receive a 5% discount
- Kids for free - For a minimum of 5 nights, a maximum of 2 children, sharing a room with their parents, will stay for free on a bed and breakfast basis. This is valid from the 3rd Jan - 4th May (excluding Easter period) and from 23rd September - 28th December
- One night free - Book 7 nights and pay for 6 for all reservations between 3rd January and 5th May (excluding Easter), and from 23rd September to 28th December
- Honeymoon package - If you are on honeymoon, you will receive 1 free dinner in the restuarant, drinks not included, flowers, chocolates and a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival.
