Le Torri di Bagnara
Le Torri de Bagnara is situated on a hill overlooking the Upper Tiber Valley about 15 minutes from Perugia in the centre of a 1500 acre estate.
The accommodation consists of a medieval stone tower and an abbey both dating back to the 13th century and preserving their original structure and with lovely views over the Umbrian countryside. The Tower residence houses 4 separate self catering apartments sleeping 2 to 5 people, while the hotel, the San Quirico Abbey Relais, has 4 rooms and 3 junior suites.
There is a very large fan shaped salt water swimming pool in a panoramic position overlooking the valley and Mount Subasio in the estate’s huge gardens. These gardens are exceptional, having been created by a landscape architect to flower from spring to autumn.
The apartments, situated in the tower further up the hill from the hotel, have a panoramic terrace with views of the surrounding countryside. There is a large communal sitting room and a separate room for tasting the wine and olive oil from the estate.
Lunch and dinner are served on a request basis for guests staying in both San Quirico and the Tower Residence. The restaurant specialises in Umbrian food, and the chef is very flexible, and vegetarian, vegan and most other diets can be catered for.
All the apartments are spacious and architecturally interesting with attractive 19th century antique furnishings. They all have working fireplaces and terracotta stone floors, fully equipped kitchens, satellite television, internet access and central heating.
The Vassal - sleeps 4+1
This apartment has 1 bedroom, which can be a double or twin, 1 bedroom with a small double bed, a single room, a spacious living room, kitchen and a large bathroom.
The Lady - sleeps 4+1
This apartment has 2 double or twin rooms, one of which is on the first floor of the tower and has a stone barrel vaulted ceiling. There is a living room, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bath and shower. There is also an en suite single room adjacent to the apartment which can be booked in conjunction with The Lady.
The Knight - sleeps 4
This apartment has 2 double bedrooms and is situated on the 3rd and 4th floors of the tower. It has a living room and dining room with kitchen, plus a bathroom with shower.
The Joker - sleeps 2
This apartment is on the ground floor and has a small double bedroom, a living room with kitchen corner and a bathroom with shower.
