Theodorides Estate

While most of our Pelion accommodation is on the more sheltered Pagisitic Gulf coast we have made an exception with the small group of high quality apartments near the sea and the small seaside community of Agios Ioannis on the more rugged Aegean coast.

It is hard to say whether you will be more impressed by the peaceful location of these modern apartments overlooking the Aegean, or by the high quality of the accommodation. Built in the traditional style of the Pelion, the six 2 storey maisonette apartments consist of one or two bedrooms, a shower room, a balcony commanding views towards the islands of Skiathos and Skopelos, and a living room with a fireplace, sofa and dining table, and a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, small oven, two ring hob, grill and coffee maker.

The whitewashed walls and white fabrics create a light and airy feel, and complement the handsome dark wood furniture perfectly, giving an overall rustic effect, homely yet stylish. The owners who live in the third villa that makes up the complex are the perfect hosts and their hospitality is so warm that many guests feel as if they are staying with good friends and return year after year.

Surrounding the villas and their shared pool is a wood of cherry, chestnut, fig and palm trees as well as an abundance of citrus trees which delicately scent the air. There are also several streams and small waterfalls nearby that can be heard gurgling in the background along with the sound of birdsong or cicadas in the height of summer. This idyllic spot is an undeniably romantic retreat, with its delightful grounds and inspirational views. (Spot the dolphins from your balcony!) What’s more, three beaches, and a good selection of tavernas and bars in the picturesque village of Agios Ioannis can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.

Perfect for couples who appreciate the pleasures of staying in and listening to nature’s own music and watching the changing light on the sea below, but with a wealth of walks and coastal discoveries for nature lovers who enjoy exploring.
