  • Thailand adventure from bustling Bangkok to one of Thailand's idyllic beaches 

    Day 1

    Arrive in Bangkok and make your way to your choice of hotel. 

    For your first evening, take a stroll along the Flower Market, taking in the sweet smell of exotic orchids among the buzz of vendors loading up their wares. If you like shopping, head over to the Memorial Bridge where you will find a market overlooking the Chao Phraya River.

    End your first day with cocktails against the stunning backdrop of the Rattanakosin skyline at “Amorasa Bar” the roof top bar of Arun Resident will keep your night pleasurable.

    Day 2

    We suggest you take the day to visit the enchanting historical quarter, accessed by a long tail boat ride. Visit the specular Grand Palace, Thailand’s most important landmark. Continue on to the nearby “Amulet Market” which sits adjacent to the river pier; the unique of religious amulets, charms and traditional medicine, creating an otherworldly and mystical atmosphere. Complete the magical experience by stopping at a local fortune teller to see what your future holds.

    Day 3

    In the morning, take a visit to Samyan Market where you will find an array of fresh Thai food and meet the locals on their morning shop. Then, continue to the Nanglerng Food market, which offers historical insights into how the city trade grew when it was flouring 100 years previously.

    In early evening, visit the Golden Mount, to have a top view of the old city and cycle down to Bangkok's main attractions. Cycling pass the Giant Swing, Wat Suthat and flower market area. Before the sunset arrive to a peaceful park by the Chao Phraya to watch as the sun goes down over the Temple of Dawn, with the golden spires of the Grand Palace illuminated behind.
    Return to the hotel with public transportation by your own arrangement.

    Day 4

    Today, drive south of Bangkok to the garden province of Samut Songhkhram in the Mae Klong river delta area. En route, stop at a unique country market along the railway tracks. See the train arrive bringing the people to the market.
    Another stop en route worth visiting is Tha Kha, one of the many floating markets in the area. We suggest you take a fascinating paddleboat journey through the klongs and stop to enjoy a glass of coconut sugar syrup with a friendly local family before another boat ride to visit Buddhist temples and Rama II Park with it’s the Thai style Pavilion Museum.

    Your day continues with a drive to Kanchanaburi. Time permitting, visit the JEATH War Museum and stroll through the historical lane in Pak Preak community, laden with charming shop houses built during the reign of King Rama V before driving to your hotel.

    Day 5

    Depart to Elephant World, located just half an hour from the famous River Kwai Bridge. You will be introduced to each elephant then have the opportunity to work for them under guidance from the mahout. This includes enjoyable activities like cutting banana grass, sugar cane or banana plants to then feed to the elephants.

    In the late afternoon, depart to enjoy with the beauty and scenery of the River Kwai by canoeing down the river. Under the supervision of an experienced instructor, paddle for an hour along the river. After a refreshment break, take a 10 kilometre easy bike ride through the spectacular Kanchanaburi rainforest. Stops are made en route to visit a local school and temples or even the local villagers going about their daily tasks.

    Day 6

    Today head to Ayutthaya – stop in Bang Pa-In Summer Palace and explore the majestic royal mansions. Visit the nearby temple Wat Niwet Thammapravat, one of the most distinctive Buddhist temples with its remarkable Gothic-style architecture.

    Once you reach Auytthaya explore the island of the ancient city by bike, taking in the highlights of the historical park.
    Return to relax at the hotel.

    In the evening, bike to see the spectacular twilight scene of the historical park with illuminated light.

    Overnight: Ayutthaya

    Day 7

    Transfer back to Bangkok for your flight to Chiang Mai. While there, visit the local Doi Pui village, where you can meet its people and explore its unique culture including its extensive fresh herb gardens.
    Then, take a drive to Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, the temple on the mountain, and the most sacred in North Thailand where you will find impressive and beautiful murals. In the late afternoon, the tourist masses have already left the temple grounds and dusk will give a very special atmosphere. After your private blessing ceremony, witness the magical evening chanting of the monks. Spectacularly romantic evening view over Chiang Mai with it millions of glittering lights. 

    Overnight: Chiang Mai 

    Day 8

    Depart to the recent discovery of the lost city of Wiang Kum Kam.

    Continue to the Three Kings monument, and the Chiang Mai Arts & Culture Hall, which offers a wonderful collection of the chronicled history of Chiang Mai.

    After lunch, explore the secrets jewels of the Chiang Mai; head towards the Mae Ping River banks and Warorot market for a stroll along the colourful stalls. Continue by rickshaw along Tapae road, Chiang Mai’s main street. From the eastern gate, explore ancient Chiang Mai on foot, including the Three Kings monument, the city’s most important temples Wat Chedi Luang, where the famous Emerald Buddha was once enshrined, and Wat Phra Singh home to a very old and sacred Buddha image.

    Overnight: Chiang Mai

    Day 9

    Take the day at your leisure to explore the incredible natural surroundings.

    If you would prefer – take a guided tour of the countryside. Transfer just over 1 hour to the countryside of Mae Taeng. Despite its close proximity to Chiang Mai city, Mae Taeng feels a world away as you are immersed in beautiful country side full of vivid green rice fields, orchards, buffalos and small Thai villages and waterfalls.

    Day 10-13

    Transfer to the airport for your flight to your choice of beach destination.

    Overnight: Beach

    Day 14

    Laze on the beach until departure to the airport for your flight back to the UK
