Baglio Fontana
The Baglio Fontana is a lovely agriturismo in Western Sicily.
The Baglio was established in the 18th century and has 13 rooms, all of which are en suite. There is a large pool and small wellness centre with sauna and massage centre, which uses the natural products of the farm such as almond oil and honey. Bicycle hire can be arranged as well as horse riding close by.
The owners of the Baglio Fontana pride themselves on their restaurant which specialises in local cuisine using the products of the farm's vineyards, olive trees and fruit orchards. The restaurant is only open in the evenings, but you are able to get cold snacks by the pool during the day. Should you prefer to explore the surroundings in the evening, there are alternative restaurants all within an easy drive.
Along with its impeccable hospitality and family atmosphere, the strategic position of the Baglio Fontana, a short distance from the major tourist sites of the province such as Erice, San Vito Lo Capo, Segesta and the Egadi Islands, makes Baglio Fontana an ideal place to explore this lovely area of Sicily.
