On arrival at Kangaroo Island you will be met by your guide for your private tour of the Island in your air-conditioned 4WD vehicle. Your day will commence with a visit to the Redgum Forest along the Cygnet River Valley, viewing koalas sleeping in the forks of the trees. After travelling through some of the best wool-producing areas on the Island you will arrive at a conservation park on the north coast. Here you will walk through the habitat of Kangaroo Island kangaroos, tammar wallabies and the endangered glossy black cockatoo. After enjoying a delicious seafood barbeque lunch served with fine South Australian wines you will head to a colony of Australian Sea lions. At Seal Bay Conservation Park, walk with your guide among sea lions on a beautiful sandy beach.
Later in the afternoon visit Cape Gantheaume Conservation Park and D'Estrees Bay - where ospreys nest, and kangaroos come out late in the day to feed. Upon conclusion of the tour you will be returned to Kingscote Airport for your onward flight to Adelaide, which is included today.
