A two week trip taking in the beautiful Indian Ocean coast and some of Western Australia's best national parks.

Day 1

Arrive Perth

Upon arrival at Perth International Airport you will be met by our representatives and transferred by private vehicle to your accommodation.

Perth has more hours of sunshine per year than any other state capital and overlooks the vast and tranquil waters of the Swan River.  Perth has a series of gardens, parks and reserves including Kings Park - a short walk from the city centre. Kings Park is a 400-hectare parkland situated around the green slopes of Mt Eliza and is a dramatic contrast with Perth's skyline and the distant blue hills of the Darling Ranges.

Day 2

Perth to Rottnest Island and return

You will be met at your accommodation by your private guide and driver for your full day tour to Rottnest Island.
 
Rottnest Island is located approximately 18 kilometres west of Perth and its appeal lies in its spectacular coral fringed beaches and sparkling sands, ideal for swimming, surfing or sunbathing.

Spend the day relaxing and enjoy a beautiful picnic lunch on the beach prepared by your guide, consisting of cold meat platters and salads with fresh bread rolls and crisp Australian wine to wash it down.

Once the sun starts setting on a beautiful day the boat will leave Rottnest and head back to the mainland where you will be transferred back to your accommodation.

Day 3

Perth to the Pinnacles and return

This morning you will be met at your accommodation by your private guide and driver for a full day tour to the Pinnacles where thousands of huge limestone pillars rise out of a stark landscape of yellow sand. In places they reach up to three and a half metres tall. Some are jagged, sharp-edged columns, rising to a point; while others resemble tombstones.

Highlights include a ride on the worlds largest 4WD tour vehicle to visit the huge Lancelin sand dunes, a magnificent seafood lunch in the rock lobster town of Cervantes and enjoying the Pinnacles from the air from your scenic helicopter flight back to Perth.

Day 4

Perth to Margaret River

This morning your large automatic rental vehicle including unlimited kilometres, collision excess reduction and daily insurance will be delivered to your accommodation (Monday to Friday only).
 
Depart Perth and drive to your accommodation in the Margaret River (approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes driving time).

Margaret River, famous for its wineries, is an ideal base to discover the coastal scenery, wine tasting, surfing and caving. Yallingup is home to the first of numerous underground caves; part of the cave system, which works its way south to Augusta. These fascinating limestone caves include Lake Cave, Mammoth Cave and Jewel Cave with magnificent limestone formations and beautiful colours.

Day 5

Margaret River

This morning you will be met at your accommodation by your private guide and vehicle for your half day Margaret River Five Senses tour.

Margaret River is becoming recognised as one of the most beautiful and diverse holiday destinations in the world, famous for its wineries and coastal scenery

The focus of your tour is to personalise your experience of the Margaret River region. Your private guide will open doors to the characters and identities that are attracted to the lifestyle of Margaret River including premium wines create innovative food and craft beautiful artworks. All are inspired by the breathtaking coastal scenery, the enchanting forests and sense of place that is Margaret River.

You will be given the chance to be introduced and chat to local identities, discover one of the local boutique wineries with the opportunity to meet the owner/winemaker and indulge in the local produce. 

Upon completion of your tour you will be transferred to your accommodation.

Day 6

Margaret River to the Pembertons

Depart Margaret River and drive to your accommodation in Denmark (approximately 2 hours driving time).

Pemberton is steeped in timber lore and is the best place to experience the magic of the magnificent karri forest growing all around. The town stands on what was formerly Nyungar Aboriginal land. Extensive karri and marri forests grow in the district, timber-milling being the main local industry. The beauty of the forest is enhanced by clear streams and pretty cascades and by a wealth of wildflowers in the spring. 

Today you can explore the magnificent karri forests in a variety of ways - by car, on foot, or aboard a tramcar, which winds through the forest on a 36km railway line. You may wish to climb the 153 peg rungs on the famous Gloucester Tree, which stands 60 metres tall, to be rewarded with a magnificent view over the treetops. This tree was once used as a fire-watch tower, and has a cabin at the top of it.

Day 7

Pemberton to Albany

Depart Pemberton and drive to your accommodation in Albany (approximately 3 hours driving time)

Albany is an attractive historic township on the southern coast of Western Australia surrounded by a large number of significant attractions. It has magnificent views across the harbour from just about every vantage point, gracious churches, public buildings and historic harbourside stores and wharves. Superb stretches of dramatic coastline weathered by the timeless forces of the Southern Ocean make Albany one of the truly remarkable places in Western Australia.

Day 8

Albany

Today is at leisure and while in the Albany area we suggest the following optional activities:
• Middleton Beach Boardwalk
• Bush walks and Heritage trails
• Visit the Residency Museum, The Old Gaol and Patrick Taylor Cottage
• Harbour and River boat cruises
• Fishing trips
• Albany Reef Explorer
• Scenic Sight Seeing Flights

Day 9

Albany to Broome via Perth

This morning depart your accommodation and drive to Perth Domestic Airport and return your rental vehicle prior to your onward flight (approximately 4 hours driving time) to Broome.

Upon arrival at Broome Airport you will be met by a representative of the resort and transferred to your accommodation.

Surrounded by white sandy beaches, pindan cliffs and turquoise waters, Broome was established as a pearling town in the 1880’s and now boasts a multi-cultural population due to the many nationalities who flocked to the shores of Roebuck Bay hoping to make their fortunes from the pearling industry.

Day 10

Broome

This morning you will be met at your accommodation by your private guide and driver for a half day tour of Broome tour.  Today you will be given an insightful, entertaining and memorable experience showcasing Broome's natural, historical and cultural highlights. This introduction will helps you to ease into Broome's lifestyle, gain a greater appreciation of its culture and maximise your holiday experience.

Upon conclusion of your tour you will be transferred back to your accommodation.

The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 11

Broome

Today you will be met at your accommodation by your guide for a full day scenic flight tour with Broome Aviation.

Your scenic flight today will firstly take you to Winjana Gorge.  A   guided tour through this gorge is a magical experience, your ranger guide will show you the Devonian Reef, Johnson River crocodiles up close and describe the flora, fossilised fish and prolific bird life of this area. Reboarding your aircraft you will travel into the majestic King Leopold Ranges to the remote Silent Grove airstrip.  You will then be transferred to the Bell Gorge track.  This rugged track is a twenty to thirty minute walk ending at a magnificent pool that feeds the beautiful waterfall, not only a spectacular sight, but a perfect spot for a refreshing dip. 

You will then travel on to isolated Mt Hart Station Homestead to enjoy a wonderful lunch.  Return to Broome via the numerous islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago with afternoon tea at Cape Leveque.  These islands are kaleidoscopic, each different to the last; red desert isles with scant underbrush, tropical isles with placid lagoons and white sandy beaches, the variety is endless.

Upon return at Broome Airport you will be transferred to your accommodation.

Day 12

Broome

Today is at leisure and while in Broome we suggest the following optional activities:
• Visit the Broome Historical Society Museum
• Sunset viewing over the Indian Ocean
• Browse the Pearl shops in Chinatown
• Broome Bird Observatory
• Swimming at Cable Beach
• Broome outdoor cinema
• Visit the historic sites such as the 1888 Courthouse and Pioneer Cemetery
• Scenic flight to the spectacular gorges of the Kimberley

Day 13

Depart Broome

You will be met at your accommodation by your private car and driver and transferred to Broome Airport for your onward flight.
