Botswana Anthropological & Wildlife Safari with Ray Mears

13 - 20 June 2020, in partnership with our sister company Bailey Robinson.

Explore the Kalahari with Ray Mears and the Khoi San Bushmen on a private tour

Ray Mears

We delighted to offer an exclusive opportunity to travel with Ray Mears to one of the most remote regions of Botswana. You’ll spend time with the Khoi San bushmen, deep in the Kalahari, before completing a wildlife safari in the heart of the world-renowned Okavango Delta.

This tour will be expertly led by Ray Mears, Rob Barber of Golden Africa and Ben Oxley-Brown from our sister company Bailey Robinson, utilising the knowledge and skill of some of the finest guides in Africa to create an immersive cultural and wildlife experience.

Ray Mear’s connection with the Khoi San people goes back decades, primarily through his work exploring bushcraft with First Nation people. With deep rooted connections and friendships with this tribe and the ability to interpret daily life and bring meaning to the surroundings, Ray will add a facet to this trip which is utterly exclusive. Once onto the wildlife element of the trip, his observational skills and encyclopaedic knowledge ensure this will be an informative and interactive journey throughout.
