Sail the Sporades Our real secret to sailing

A sailing holiday doesn’t have to be a showy affair, where you moor up in a marina jostling with mega yachts. Actually, the real secret to sailing is the opportunity to go where others aren’t.

Not a skipper? Not a problem. This summer, charter a yacht along Greece’s Pelion Peninsula to the Sporades Islands, including the islands of Skopelos and Alonissos, on a spacious vessel with two large rear cabins, a two-berth bunk cabin, plus lots of deck space for sunbathing.

You’ll be sailed to quiet, impossibly blue bays to moor up for swims, with stops at small fishing villages and waterfront tavernas.

Itineraries are entirely flexible, but typically include a mix of overnights in small harbours or more remote anchorages.
