    Combine a visit to the spectacular High Atlas Mountains of Morocco with a stay in the exotic city of Marrakech. Stay in a stylish riad ideally located in the old Medina of the city, near to the legendary Djemaa El-Fna square – a UNESCO World Heritage Site where snake charmers, storytellers and musicians compete for your attention. Explore the sights and get lost in the labyrinthine souks where you can barter for carpets and spices, and sample the delicious local cuisine at any number of excellent restaurants. Then transfer to the High Atlas Mountains and stay at the Kasbah du Toubkal mountain retreat, a world away from the hubbub of the city. Here you can enjoy short or full day treks into the stunning scenery, following ancient footpaths and mule tracks through Berber villages amid the dramatic landscape.

    Day 1

    Upon arrival at Marrakech airport you will be met and transferred to your riad in the old Medina area of the city. 

    Overnight: Marrakech

    Day 2-3

    Explore the fascinating and vibrant city of Marrakech. Explore the area around Djemaa El-Fna square, which lies in the shadow of the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque, whose beautiful minaret dominates the skyline. Visit the Majorelle Gardens owned by the late Yves Saint Lauren, the Menara Gardens, Saadian Tombs, and the Musee de Marrakech among others. Private guided tours can be arranged.

    Overnight: Marrakech

    Day 4

    After breakfast, depart Marrakech by private transfer to Kasbah du Toubkal in Imlil, approximately 90 minutes’ journey. Upon arrival you are met and your luggage loaded onto a mule, where you are then guided on a short 15-minute mule ride or walk up to the Kasbah. Depending on your arrival time, there will be the option of a complimentary introductory walk in the area. 

    Overnight: Imlil

    Day 5-7

    These are days to relax at the Kasbah. Enjoy free time in the Imlil area, explore the local valley, or relax in the hammam (steam bath)—the choice is yours. Guided treks can be arranged locally or in advance as required, including an overnight trek to the summit of Jbel Toubkal – the highest mountain in North Africa.

    Day 8

    Private departure transfer to Marrakech airport.
