  • Small and secluded Caribbean resort with a choice of 2 beaches and stunning Piton views.

Anse Chastanet lies in 242 hectares of private tropical plantation on the lush southwest coast of St. Lucia. With spectacular views over the Pitons and beautiful jungle scenery, two beaches and a spa offering a wide range of treatments, this is the ultimate in eco-luxury.

The focus at Anse Chastanet is on enjoying the natural surroundings, and there is much to explore when you aren’t lazing on one of the two beaches. Some of the best snorkelling on the island is easily accessible at the pristine reef located just off shore, and there is a PADI dive centre onsite too. Plenty of other water sports are available too as well as cruises on the resort’s 41 foot yacht. Back on dry land there are the Pitons to scale, and a mountain bike centre with 19 kilometres of jungle trails for hiking and cycling. Spa treatments, fitness activities and complimentary yoga are all on offer to unwind after all that exertion.

Some of the best dining in Soufriere and St. Lucia can be found at Anse Chastanet. An enticing selection of menus are available in a number of intimate hillside and beachside locations and also, you can pre-book private dining arrangements at the water's edge on Anse Chastanet beach or in the spa cottage Kai Mer overlooking the Caribbean. Whether you want fine tropical Caribbean cuisine, exotic Creole flavours or simple grilled fare you will find it all available and more. The culinary options also include the St.Lucia- East Indian menu titled Apsara, a wholly vegetarian restaurant called Emerald's and last not least the Jungle Grill for day time laid-back dining on the second beach Anse Mamin.

    Rooms

Just 49 individually decorated rooms and suites are scattered on the hillside at Anse Chastanet and in tropical gardens behind the beach. The hillside rooms have fabulous views while those at beach level have the advantage of the sand just a few feet away. Some of the Deluxe and Premium Hillside Rooms feature a dramatic ‘open wall’ with the fourth wall missing and spectacular views in its place. The Casuarina Piton Pool Suite has a private veranda and plunge pool, and can also interconnect with a second room making a spacious 2 bedroom suite.

Do note that due to the steep steps leading to the beach, the resort may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
