    Property Type

  • A stunning beach retreat on the undeveloped Malabar Coast of northern Kerala.

Neeleshwar Hermitage is undoubtedly one of the best beach properties, not only in Kerala, but in all of India. Located on a gloriously unspoiled beach of sand, stretching as far as the eye can see, there are just 18 traditionally thatched cottages which are large, airy and wonderfully inviting - each having its own, private courtyard garden and one with a private plunge pool. They have been beautifully designed and decorated with polished wood pillars, gleaming teak floors and stone bathrooms with state of the art fixtures and fittings. Deep mattresses and fine linen ensure a good night's sleep after spending time in the spa and Ayurvedic centre.

Back to India
The incredible thing about India is that you can never really get a grasp on it, no matter how many times you visit. I love that every time I'm there I discover something new. My favourite place is probably Kochi; I love the relaxed atmosphere and how you can spend hours just wandering the streets and not get bored.
