Our View
We love the combination of rich history, Scottish craftsmanship, and warm hospitality - with the added treat of Michelin-starred dining right next door at The Glenturret Distillery.
Hidden within woodland and gardens on the banks of the River Turret, Aberturret Estate House is a beautifully restored 19th-century Dower house once owned by the Murray Clan. Designed for exclusive use, it sleeps up to 12 guests across six elegant ensuite bedrooms. The house is full of character and warmth, with a traditional Aga at the heart of the kitchen, a cocktail bar for evening gatherings, and a lounge with an open hearth fire. Interiors are inspired by Highland landscapes and whisky heritage, with Harris Tweeds, Scottish ceramics, and artworks spanning two centuries creating an atmosphere of comfort and culture. Perfect for family holidays, reunions, or private celebrations, it’s a luxurious retreat where every detail can be tailored to your stay.
