Our View
We love the jasmine-covered gazebo and sweeping gardens that lead to a tranquil private lake – an idyllic setting for alfresco dinners, lazy afternoons, or a peaceful morning coffee surrounded by nature.
Casa Felice Matteucci is a beautifully restored Tuscan villa nestled in the hills just outside Lucca, surrounded by terraced olive groves and landscaped gardens. Once home to the 19th-century inventor Felice Matteucci, the villa sleeps up to 14 guests in seven elegant en-suite bedrooms. Inside, spacious living areas include a domed dining room, a cosy salon, and a traditional Tuscan kitchen, while outside, a jasmine-covered gazebo and floodlit pool overlook a peaceful private lake with its own tree-shaded island.
It’s a charming and historic retreat full of character – perfect for relaxing, exploring Tuscany, or gathering with friends and family in timeless Italian style.
