Our View
Hello Sunnanhed is an architectural showpiece created from a huge Swedish barn, with the original beams and wooden walls still in situ.
A huge pivoting window-wall frames views of the surrounding meadows; inside, interiors are Scandi-chic and comfortable, making Sunnanhed a wonderfully unique place to stay.

Soaring eight-metre-high ceilings give the barn an amazing feeling of light and space, and thoughtfully curated Scandi design makes this open-plan interior cosy with tufted rugs, plush seating coves and a copper bathtub for two. The barn’s triumph is the pivoting window wall, which can be angled to the breeze or to simply facilitate gazing at the wildflower meadows that encircle the property.
Another joy is the opportunity for unique experiences in the area, like picking berries or foraging for mushrooms, lake swimming or wood saunas in the wild, forest hikes and kayak safaris. Or simply sit by the campfire and learn the art of wood carving. In winter, Sunnanhed transforms into a cosy refuge and as snow blankets the scene, enjoy cross-country skiing and husky safaris across the wintery landscapes.
