    The lowdown

    • Best For

Perfect for both couples and families looking to combine beach relaxation with outdoor adventure and resort-style comfort.

    • Getting There

Fly into Preveza International Airport (PVK) (around 82km) or Ioannina Regional Airport (IOA) (around 91km). Igoumenitsa Port is approximately 40km away, with boat transfers available from Corfu at an additional cost.

    • Good to Know

With its location between Parga and Syvota and easy access from multiple airports, Elix is well suited to both short breaks and longer stays, with the option to arrive via Corfu for a seamless Ionian island-and-mainland combination.

At first glance, Elix is defined by its setting above Karavostasi beach – where pine-clad slopes meet a wide sweep of turquoise sea and the horizon opens out towards the islands of Paxos, Antipaxos and Corfu. The atmosphere feels expansive and unforced, with the coastline constantly in view and nature very much in charge of the experience.

However, what sets Elix apart is how much of the experience is built around the outdoors and the sense of place. Days can be as active or as relaxed as you choose, with yoga and fitness sessions on open decks, cycling and hiking routes through the surrounding terrain, and water sports along the shoreline. There’s a strong emphasis on being outside and moving through the landscape, balanced with slower moments by the pool or beach, where the funicular access down to Karavostasi adds a sense of arrival to the coast below.

Inside the resort, accommodation is spread across a wide range of rooms and suites, many positioned to make the most of the sea views, with some offering swim-up access or private pools. Dining is varied across buffet and à la carte settings, including adults-only options and a relaxed beachside restaurant, giving a mix of casual and more elevated experiences throughout the day. Families are well catered for with dedicated clubs and facilities, while wellness spaces, a spa, and quiet pool areas offer time to unwind. As the day draws to a close, informal dining and outdoor entertainment carry the relaxed, open-air feel into the evening, keeping the focus firmly on the landscape and the sea beyond.
