The Villa Experience

With all five bedrooms enjoying Indian Ocean views, start the day with a sea breeze and a cup of tea in bed or on your private terrace before a tropical fruit breakfast on the verandah to the soundtrack of waves lapping the beach. Take your time to decide on the day, here you can relax peacefully by the pool, enjoy a massage or stroll to the beach for snorkelling. Nearby are sights for those curious about the region’s heritage including Gedi Ruins – a ruinous Swahili-Arab settlement, and Malindi Old Town and colourful market. You can tee off on a local golf course or cycle plantation trails; out at sea thrill-seekers will enjoy waterskiing, kitesurfing or windsurfing. For something more sedate, relax with the wind in your hair on a sunset dhow cruise or head home to the rooftop terrace for champagne and nibbles as you anticipate a chef-prepared dinner of oysters, seafood and Swahili curries, paired with your pick of wine from the cellar.
