Domes Living

Living in a domed camp is a unique experience. At Pristine El Calafate Luxury Camp, there are just six comfortable domes, crafted from wood. Inside, a cosy décor awaits with double beds, sofas, vibrant handmade rugs, a log burner and a heated outdoor bathtub. The real highlight though is exclusive, uninterrupted views onto the Perito Moreno Glacier, the majestic landscapes of the steppe, Lake Roca and the Brazo Rico.

A larger main dome is a restaurant and living room, where you’re served surprisingly inventive and delicious meals, given your remote location, prepared by the chef using regional ingredients and time-honoured recipes.

Intrepid Excursions

Every day at Pristine El Calafate Luxury Camp is an opportunity to experience the magnificent scenery in a variety of ways. In the crisp, fresh air, feel energized by pure nature and with knowledgeable guides explore the Patagonian steppes on foot or on horseback with a gaucho, skirting around the shores of the Roca lakes with awe-inspiring views of the glacier.

Heading out on e-bike will allow you to gain further ground with more adventurous routes through the rugged landscapes. You can also take a day trip to the southern area of Los Glaciares National Park to get up close to the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier. Back at camp, learn from the expertise of the skilled chefs with a cookery class in the camp kitchen creating Patagonian specialities.

Good to Know

An all-inclusive camp, staying at Pristine El Calafate includes all meals, drinks, transfers to and from the airport and unique excursions with guides and hosts.

What we Think

Pristine El Calafate is clearly a very special place but we’d recommend including it into a larger more exploratory trip around Argentina, to really appreciate the country’s stunning contrasts. We can build an itinerary that could include nearby Torre del Paine and further north to the altitudinous region of Bariloche.
