Sam's View
This is one of my favourite Peloponnese properties - the villas are finished to a very high standard and the views from every villa are simply beautiful. The property has the best of both worlds – the privacy of your own villa with a choice of dining on-site at its excellent restaurant, in nearby tavernas or self-catering in your villa. There is also a basketball and tennis court if you’re feeling sporty.
Just half an hour from the city of Kalamata, Searocks Villa Resort, a collection of stone villas, allows both couples and families the chance to sculpt out their own space in this rural Grecian idyll. Ideal for couples looking for privacy and peace, the villas can also be interconnected to service larger groups and multi-generational families.
HOW TO GET THERE
Fly to Kalamata from regional airports as well as London, followed by a short 35-minute drive to the property through beautiful, coastal scenery of the Mani Peninsula.
STUNNING VISTAS
Its clifftop location, hewn into the verdant slopes of the Mani Peninsula means Searocks Villa Resorts benefits from jaw-dropping views as the land drops away to reveal a panoramic seascape which will captivate you from dawn to dusk. The infinity pool is the perfect place to soak up never-ending vistas and each villa makes the most of this sensational aspect with wide sliding glass doors, shaded terraces and a muted colour language that lets the dazzling Ionian Sea take centre stage.
The villas, some of which sleep up to eight, are tastefully furnished and come with generous living spaces, comfortable bedrooms, outdoor dining areas and private pools for the ultimate treat. Mini kitchens are well-equipped to rustle up meals and snacks, although we highly recommend the culinary offering at Searocks – the chef hails from the Mandarin Oriental Group and presents reinvented Greek favourites with a flavourful farm-to-table slant.
