Sleeping

Paradis Plage surprisingly has over 100 rooms, spread out along the ocean front and hidden away in the lush gardens. If you’re a family, the spacious two-bedroom suites with living room are ideal; couples will love the cosy cottages that have private gardens and direct access to the beach. There’s even space for groups of six in the standalone villas – working well for a friends’ surf and yoga trip.

Things to do

The natural draw of Paradis Plage is the surfing – access to the beach break from the hotel means it’s easy to have a go at catching waves and the on-site surf school has boards and instructors at your disposal. Alongside this, the resort has yoga every day at sunrise and sunset in the beachside shala. There is also a soothing spa where traditional Moroccan treatments take centre stage, making the resort a great destination for a wellness getaway. Exploring the area is easy too, with a car discover hidden wild swimming spots in Paradise Valley or cruise into Taghazout to browse surf shops and soak up the laid-back ambience.

Food & Drink

With wholesome and vegetable-forward menus, you will eat well at Paradis Plage. Starting with breakfast, kids will love to load up on pancakes and there’s also plenty of Moroccan flavour too. Lunch can be taken by the pool or at the beach – ideal fuel like burgers and pizza are the perfect post-surf meal. In the evening, The 27 serves refined raw fish dishes and French-inspired mains; while Ocean is the spot for delicious steamy tagines and fluffy couscous.

Good to Know

Showing just one side to Morocco, it’s easy to incorporate Paradis Plage into an itinerary exploring more of Morocco – perhaps a coastal route thought seafood hub Oualidia, pottery capital Safi, wind-sculpted Essaouira and perhaps finishing inland in Marrakech.

What we Think

Paradis Plage is neither a huge resort, nor a characterful raid, which makes it quite unique in Morocco. We love that you can be active or still here and the coastal location is wild and rejuvenating, you’ll leave here feeling refreshed.
